Samoa Language Week Happenings - Flag Raising Ceremony

Last week Monday 30th May we held our flag  raising ceremony
Due to unsettled weather our flag ceremony was held in the hall
Our Samoan senior students did an amazing job running the assembly
The event involved the singing of the Samoa national anthem, a hymn and prayers
shared in the Samoan language
Students also got to share facts about Samoa in English and in Samoan

Our beautiful reception display of Samoan items

Our Head boy and Head Girl opened the day with prayer

Miss Manuele leading our hymn
